How does it work?

lightgen is an MCP connector. You add one URL to claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code, sign in with a magic link, and Claude gains image and video tools backed by Nano Banana Pro and Gemini Omni Flash. Finished media comes back as links right in the chat.

What does it cost?

Prepaid credits — no subscription. 1K/2K images cost 1 credit, 4K images cost 2 credits, and videos cost 8 credits. Packs: 50 for $10, 200 for $36, 1000 for $169. Credits never expire and failed generations are never charged.

Are the free credits really free?
