How does it work?

lightgen is an MCP connector. You add one URL to claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code, sign in with a magic link, and Claude gains image tools backed by Nano Banana Pro (Google's gemini-3-pro-image). Images come back as links right in the chat.

What does it cost?

Prepaid credits — no subscription. 1 credit is one image at 1K or 2K resolution; 4K costs 2 credits. Packs: 50 for $10, 200 for $36, 1000 for $169. Credits never expire and failed generations are never charged.

Are the free images really free?

Yes — verify a card (a $0 authorization, nothing is charged) and you get 3 free generations. One free grant per card, ever.

Where do my images live?

Each image is hosted at a permanent unguessable URL, so links keep working in your chat history. Your dashboard keeps the full gallery.

Can it edit images, not just generate?
